Commissions

Commissions usually result from someone’s interest in my way of designing jewellery. The customers like specific pieces or materials and are looking for an item specially tailored to them. I am also frequently asked to rework existing pieces.

Jewellery often comes with memories attached, so it must be carefully deliberated and discussed which elements are worthy of preservation and which can be stripped for material. I am often given great artistic freedom for these commissions, which I enjoy, and which results in jewellery closely tailored to the customer. This always requires a good conversation to determine what direction to take and what makes sense in each individual case.
